Magnetic MCC charging
Most modern Olights charge with a magnetic MCC cable that snaps onto the tail - no open USB port to collect grit or wear out. The magnet lines up the contacts, so the light stays sealed and water-resistant.
Keep the contacts clean
Pocket lint can weaken the connection - wipe the tail and the MCC head occasionally with a dry cloth. If charging gets flaky, dirty contacts are almost always the cause.
Battery care for long life
Lithium cells last longest kept between roughly 20% and 80% for storage, not left fully flat for weeks, and out of hot cars. Do this and the built-in battery holds its capacity for years.
